Kathy Havers |
Kathy is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) ™ with 15 years experience as an adviser. She recently completed her Masters of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI) at Swinburne University. Kathy is also a recognised Self Managed Super Fund Specialist Adviser. Being passionate about providing advice that supports all of her client’s goals, as the founder of Catalyst Financial Group this business is truly relationship based. Kathy is married with 2 teenage children. Her daughter India is an aspiring singer and her son Brady, who is autistic, attends Bulleen Heights Specialist School. Kathy actively supports and advises other families of children (young and old) with disabilities. Her other major passion is her role as a Trustee of Kindred Spirits Foundation, providing support and a helping hand to communities & individuals including Indigenous and new settled groups in Australia. Kathy utilises her financial skills in the management and compliance responsibilities of the Foundation, as the Responsible Officer, but she also spends considerable time assisting those people the Foundation actively supports. |
Michael Forer |
Michael is a Self Managed Superannuation Specialist Advisor ™ with over 10 years experience in the financial services industry. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Michael is a member of the SMSF Professionals' Association of Australia Limited (SPAA); the leading professional association for all SMSF professionals within Australia. Michael previously worked as Technical Service Specialist for a large financial services company where his role included writing articles and presenting at seminars on complex financial planning strategies and technical issues. Away from work Michael enjoys the outdoors and taking on new challenges. He lists trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp and the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro and recently completing the Gold Coast marathon as his most proud personal achievements.
